Story
I am aiming to raise money for Greenpeace and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!
Greenpeace work towards a lot of worthy causes including climate: Revolutionising the way we use and produce energy is not only necessary; it is the safest and easiest way to protect our way of life. It’s time we chose a clean energy future.
They fight against forest destruction, protecting wildlife such as Orangatans, and the endangered Sumtaran Tiger, as well as sustaining our clean air.
They are defending our oceans against pollution, over fishing, whaling, oil spills. our ocean is a resource that drives our weather systems and provides us with half the oxygen we breathe.
They are also continuing a fight against nuclear power. People continue to suffer from cancers, stillbirths, miscarriages and other health effects as a result. Nuclear power also risks nuclear weapons proliferation and environmental catastrophes – there’s still no solution to deal with the lethal high-level radioactive waste generated.
I have been signed up with Greenpeace for years and have seen the benefits of the work they do, however they need our support. I have taken the time to make this cause a priority and would really appriciate any donation you could provide, or even taking the time to read over their website to see what they do and maybe sign a worthy petition.
